Is there anything which mentors should not send to participants?

Each facility has its own restrictions, so we ask that you check with the participant re the specifics.

Here is a list of things we ask you not to send:

Your personal contact information, including email, institutional or personal address, P.O. Box, and home address.
Your telephone number
Images and text of explicit material.
Legal documents and/or assistance with legal matters.
Copies of social media.
Complete printed books. We suggest that if you wish to send a printed book, try sending a chapter or two at a time.
Finally, we ask that you do not send anything directly to our participants. All incoming correspondence must be handled via the Prison Mathematics Project
